...of a majestic brumby
So finally I have my beautiful little girl home! If you missed the first time, featured here is VBA Actress, a 3 year old, 13.3hh true black brumby filly caught from the Victorian Alps. (I'm still waiting for an email about the date & what region she was caught from) Actress really is lovely, but she doesn't know much. She's pretty nervy of people, but if you have food..she'll be abit more interested in you. Bascially what she knows is how to yield her hindquarters, will face up to you in ANY situation! (how lovely!) For example, when she chucked a skitz and ran off the back of the float when we brang her home, she stood facing me in a time of panic, aww. She allows you to touch her forhead and thats about it. Leading...we must work on. But despite her not knowing too much, it doesn't feel like I'm approaching a horse that doesn't know much. I don't know but its wonderful! I can't wait till she's settled in and has trust in me. |
